Carlsberg Ukraine announces the Science Battle Project Contest.
If you are full of scientific ideas that can make the world more environmentally friendly and resources efficient – join in! Since August 26, 2019, the application for the all-Ukrainian contest of research projects Science Battle from Carlsberg has been started. We invite Ukrainian scientists, inventors and enthusiasts who are involved in environmental protection issues. PJSC Carlsberg Ukraine is eager to support science. Seeking new scientific ideas and inventions, the company dreams of making the world a better place to live in. It is for this purpose that the Science Battle Contest was launched.
At the end of November, PJSC Carlsberg Ukraine and a reputable jury will determine the best innovative projects, the winners of which will receive a total of UAH 1,000,000. The purpose of the contest is to solve one of the two global problems:
1) large enterprises harm reduction;
2) Increasing their efficiency.
Research projects on the following topics are accepted:
– agricultural industry;
– water resources;
– biotechnology;
– efficient energetics;
– reduction of CO2 emission.
The applications are accepted from August 26 to October 20. On November 1, the finalists will be announced.
The finalists of the competition will have a week of work with experienced mentors, who will help the best teams to present their projects. Teams will acquire the public speaking skills; increase financial literacy, understand what design thinking is and how to use it, as well as how to brand science and communicate the idea of the project.
On November 23, 2019, the final of the all-Ukrainian Contest Science Battle from PJSC Carlsberg Ukraine will take place at UNIT City in Kyiv. The winners will be announced on November 25 on the Contest website.
