On May 31, Sumy National Agrarian University hosted a regular meeting of the Academic Council chaired by the rector of the university, Academician of NAAS of Ukraine Volodymyr Ladyka. The meeting was mostly devoted to educational, career guidance and sport work in SNAU and in its separate divisions.
The members of the Academic Council also paid attention to scientific work as well as to the coordination of regulations governing the activities of the university. The following issues were included in the agenda:
- The results of educational work in Sumy NAU and colleges of SNAU were reported by the Head of the Department for the Organization of Academic work with Students S.V. Zinchenko;
- The results of physical training of university students were reported by the Head of the Department of Physical Education S.M. Kharchenko;
- On the state of career guidance work of the university and colleges of SNAU was reported by the Head of the Educational Department N.V. Kolodnenko;
The issue of scientific work was reported by the profile vice-rector Yurii Danko. The issue of approval of normative documents, regulating the activity of the university, was also considered. At the end of the meeting the members of the Academic Council considered the competition cases for filling vacant positions of teaching staff and awarding the academic titles to the staff of SNAU.
