A five-day training as a part of the project ’’Expanding Employment Opportunities Through the Development of Green and Craft Tourism within the ’’Tourist Triangle of Sumy Region’’ started on the basis of Hlukhiv Agrotechnical College of Sumy NAU. The project is implemented by the International Labour Organization with funding from the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with Sumy National Agrarian University, Sumy Regional State Administration, Regional Employment Center, Hlukhiv, Esman, Krolevets, Putyvl and Novosloboda communities.
Assistant Project Manager – Oleksandr Kovalenko delivered information about the benefits of the project, the peculiarities of its implementation in communities and emphasized the startups that have already been successfully implemented in Ukraine and Sumy region.
Svitlana Yaroshchuk- the Head of the Educational and Communication Center acquainted with the details of participation in the training.
Svitlana Lutsenko presented the training program to the audience. The attendees learned how to generate and choose a business idea, the business types and areas, analyzed their readiness for entrepreneurship.
The following 4 days of training will be dedicated to market research, staffing, calculating the cost of a business project. The participants will learn more about entrepreneurial reporting, financial planning, procurement and will be able to simulate such situations in the business game.
