Creation of a favorable environment for getting new knowledge, new ideas, new discoveries and research is one of the key strategic objectives of Sumy National Agrarian University. Such an environment provides opportunities for young scientists to communicate with each other and with older colleagues.
To provide such an opportunity for candidates for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy, they held a conference, initiated by the Department of Postgraduate and Doctoral Studies of SNAU. Young scientists from Ukraine and the People’s Republic of China joined it.
During the conference, graduate students presented the achievements in the research works for the first half of the 2020-2021 academic year. They also presented the results of the research works in the context of their practical implementation. SNAU aims to make scientific discoveries which really work in practice.
Due to quarantine restrictions the event was held online, but a good atmosphere of the meeting allowed many graduate students, research advisors, leading scientists of the university to take an active part in it. So, the event became an effective platform for communication between young and experienced scientists. Thus, SNAU decided to continue the tradition of holding such meetings.
