SNAU SCIENTISTS HAVE GOT GRANT SUPPORT FROM CZECH GOVERNMENT

This is not the first year when the project of the Czech University of Natural Sciences in Prague and SSU “Interuniversity Cooperation as a Tool for Improving the Quality of Selected Universities of Ukraine” has been implemented, supported by the Government of the Czech Republic.

The selected universities are SNAU, SSU (SumDu), BNAU, DSAEU, KhNAU named after V.V. Dokuchayev (now BTU). As a part of the project a new grant proposal for 2021-2022 was announced in October, 2021.

The main requirements for receiving grants were: cooperation of scientists from at least two universities and the obligation to submit a prepared article by the 15th of December, 2021 for further publication in WoS/Scopus.

On the 18th of November the university got a report that two applications had received grant support:

  1. SNAU + SSU (SumDu) a project “Seeder System That Allows Tilling with Inoculants During Sowing”, the main coordinator is Mykola Shelest, the Assistant of the Department of Tractors, Agricultural Machinery and Transport Technologies (team members from SNAU – O. Datsko, V. Zubko, T.Hvorost and students);
  2. SNAU + BTU + DSAEU a project “Impact of Organic Fertilizers from Biogas Plants on Microbiological, Physical and Chemical Properties of Soil and Plant Growth”, the main coordinator is Elina Zakharchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Agrotechnologies and Natural Resource Management (a team member from SNAU – a graduate student Sihuan Chzhan).

As the duration of the programs is a year, both December and the following months will be busy enough to implement the plan.

SNAU wishes the scientists inspiration to carry out the planned stages of the projects!
