On 20 December 2024, students of Sumy NAU took part in a regional forum on youth policy organized by the National Ukrainian Youth Association (NUYA).

Among the audience of the event were representatives of NUYA member organizations, community residents and all those who wanted to change the future of the region through the development of youth initiatives.

The forum was represented by six students: Roman HOLIKOV, a 4th year student of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology; Kseniia ATORINA, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of Agrotechnologies and Natural Resource Management; Yehor KOROPETS and Viktoriia TOKAR, 1st and 2nd year students of the Faculty of Law, respectively; and Svitlana USTYMENKO and Denys TRIPOLSKYI, 1st and 3rd year students of the Faculty of Economics and Management.

The event attendees were presented with the findings of a study on the state of the region’s youth policy, including an analysis of its strengths and weaknesses. The forum was also rich with discussions, where participants shared their experiences, gained insights from others’ successes, and collaborated to discover ways to bring young people together within their communities.
