Sumy National Agrarian University is the ONLY AGRARIAN Higher Educational Institution IN THE INTERNATIONAL PROJECT “INNOVATIVE UNIVERSITY AND LEADERSHIP”

The Innovative University and Leadership Project was being held at the Warsaw University in Warsaw and Jagiellonian University in Krakow from October 7 to October 31, 2019. It was devoted to the interdisciplinarity and university development strategies. The purpose of the project was the traineeship, in particular training courses and individual advisory panels with leading Polish scientists and experts in the field of education and science. 25 participants from different higher education institutions were selected from all over Ukraine. Sumy National Agrarian University is the only agricultural agrarian institution in the project, which was represented by Associate Professor of the Marketing and Logistics Department K. Bliumska-Danko. The project is implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Poland.

During the first two weeks, participants delivered joint lectures and discussed the issues of interdisciplinarity at Warsaw and Jagiellonian universities. This year’s competition for the project numbered 5.5 people per place.

The second part of the project provided the individual advisory panels and access to the laboratories and scientific parks of Jagiellonian University.

The final seminar, at which the participants of the International Ukrainian-Polish project present the results of the implemented activity in higher education institutions in different regions of Ukraine, will be held in May 2020 in Kiev.
