Today Europeans celebrate Europe Day! On this day in 1985 at the European Council in Milan, the ninth of May was approved as Europe Day, marking the day of the proclamation of the Schuman Declaration, which is considered the birthday of the European Union.

At the beginning of hostilities, European countries were the first who helped Ukrainians, providing both military and humanitarian support. One of the areas of support for scientists and educators is the creation of European internship and training programs atleading European universities.

Each of us sincerely believes in a quick victory, so the lecturers of Sumy National Agrarian University with hope and sincere desire for self-development and self-improvement are currently undergoing internships at European universities. It should be noted that the leading institutions of higher education, which take the first positions in the world rankings, are happy to provide places for lecturers of SNAU.

Larysa Kalachevska, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Law, is undergoing advanced training at Weihenstephan-Triesdorf University of Applied Sciences (Germany). This university is one of the oldest partners of SNAU. Over the years of cooperation dozens of projects have been implemented.

Nataliia Volchenko, Associate Professor at the Department of International Relations, is undergoing the internship at theUniversity of Craiova (Romania). This university has been a partner of Sumy National Agrarian University since 2018.

Support of Polish higher education institutions has traditionally been significant. Today Olena Slavkova, the Head of the Department of Public Administration, is undergoing the internship at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, and SvitlanaKalyuzhna, the senior lecturer of the Department of International Relations, is improving her professional skills at the KazimierzPułaski University of Technology and Humanities.

Kseniia Bliumska-Danko, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing and Logistics, is undergoing an internship at Paris-Saclay University, which is one in the top twenty leading institutions in the world according to the Shanghai ranking. She is a participant of a special program of the French government for scientists from Ukraine Pause. Solidarity with Ukraine”.

Two scientists from Sumy National Agrarian University got grants for internships in Switzerland. Alona Klochko, the Head of the Department of International Relations, will be trained under the Scholars in Risk program at the University of Neuchatel. OlenaMelnyk, a senior researcher, will conduct a research work at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich. The Institute is alsoin the top twenty universities in the world.

For several months Anzhelika Shevel, the Head of the Department of Philosophy, has been training at the Free University of Belgium. Olga Novikova, Associate Professor of the Departmentof Economics and Entrepreneurship, has been training at the Simon College in Ireland to improve her skills and acquire new competencies.

This is by no means a complete list of teachers and scientists of Sumy National Agrarian University, who joined the teams of European educational institutions in order to improve their skills and study the best European experience. We are sure that when they come back to Ukraine, they will be able to use obtained knowledge for the further development of our university.
