November 20, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Yehor Stadnyi visited Sumy. The purpose of this visit was to discuss the changes that will happen in institutions of higher education next year. Volodymyr Ladyka and Mr. Stadnyi talked about the future of higher education in Ukraine. This issue is of great concern for heads of Ukrainian universities. Besides, the Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine held a conference with teachers and students of Sumy NAU. During the conference, they had an opportunity to put different questions to Yehor Stadnyi. One of the main issues raised during the meeting was the financing of Ukrainian higher education institutions. As Mr. Stadnyi noted, the system of financing will be based on the results of activity of a higher educational institution. Other innovations were also discussed at the meeting.
