WE INVITE YOUNG SCIENTISTS TO TAKE PART IN INTERNATIONAL SEMINARS IN SCIENTOMETRY

October 31 -November 1, in the context of the common project with the financial support of the Czech Development Agency, the international seminars, which aim to share information about scientific research work, basics of scientific research work as well as the principles of scientometrics, will be held.
A two-day seminar, which aims to acquaint young researchers with the essence of scientific research, the basics of scientific work as well as with the principles of scientometrics, will be held on October 31 – November 1, 2019 with the participation of the Czech University of Natural Sciences in Prague, Sumy NAU, Sumy State University and Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University. The seminars are organized within the framework of the project “The potential support of young universities in Ukraine in education, research and scientific activities”. The knowledge gained during the seminars should help participants to publish their scientific articles, apply for a scientific project and complete their thesis successfully. The two-day seminar delivered by prof. David Gerak will include the following issues:
– Historical development of science in the context of time,
– Scientific methods and their essence,
– Scientific journals and databases,
– Scientometrics,
– The use of citation managers,
– Scientific article and its structure,
– English in scientific literature; scientific article, its structure and thesis.
Location: building K-2 «Sumy Ukrainian Academy of Banking» (Petropavlivska street, 52), room 227. Lectures will be delivered in English. They start at 9.00 and finish at 17.00. All participants will be awarded by certificates of participation in the two-day international scientific seminar.
