Its significance is emphasized at the level of national policy \u2014 according to the Law of Ukraine \u201cOn Higher Education,\u201d a university is defined as a multidisciplinary institution of higher education with the fourth level of accreditation, which:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>conducts educational activities across a wide range of natural, humanitarian, technical, economic, and other fields;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>carries out fundamental and applied scientific research;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>acts as a leading scientific and methodological center;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>possesses a well-developed infrastructure of scientific and educational-production units;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ensures a high level of human and material-technical resources;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>promotes the dissemination of scientific knowledge and engages in active cultural and educational work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>SNAU fully meets this definition. The university\u2019s scientific activity is a cohesive, strategically organized system that encompasses both academic research and its practical application in the agro-industrial sector of the region and the country as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main objectives facing SNAU include the development of scientific foundations for the advancement of the agro-industrial complex of Sumy Region and Ukraine, the creation of innovative solutions, and the implementation of scientific results in practice. To achieve these goals, the university employs a strong scientific potential: 72 Doctors of Sciences and Professors, 242 Candidates of Sciences, of whom 199 hold the title of Associate Professor.
