On May 27, 2024, members of the Academic Council of Sumy National Agrarian University, headed by its chairman, acting rector Volodymyr LADYKA, gathered for a scheduled meeting. They reviewed competitive cases, made decisions on urgent issues, and recognized the best employees and students.
The agenda included the following reports:
- On the results of the effective functioning of the internal system of quality assurance and measures to improve it (speaker: Olena RYBINA, Acting Head of the Department of Education Quality, Licensing and Accreditation)
- On the results of educational work in Sumy NAU and colleges of the SNAU in the academic year 2023-2024 (speaker: social pedagogue Vitalii MUMINDZHANOV)

The participants voted for the competition cases on awarding academic titles to Viktor KABANETS and Volodymyr KRAVCHENKO, as well as for supporting the work “Food Component of National Security: Genetic Resources, Food Technologies” for participation in the competition for the Borys Paton National Prize of Ukraine in 2024” and for including the candidacies of Volodymyr LADYKA and Mykola POVOD in the team of applicants for the work. Svitlana SPASKYKH, Oleksandr NECHIPORENKO and Olha ROHOVENKO were elected as members of the counting commission at this meeting.
Acting Rector of Sumy NAU Volodymyr LADYKA had a pleasant mission to present awards to the best employees and students during the Academic Council. Elina ZAKHARCHENKO was awarded a diploma from the head of the Sumy Regional State Administration for her conscientious work and on the occasion of the Day of Science. Svitlana LUKASH received a diploma from the Sumy Regional Council for her special contribution to the educational and scientific spheres and on the occasion of the Day of Unity of Ukraine. On the occasion of Science Day, Svitlana KHURSENKO, Victoria STRELNIK, Serhiy BOKOVETS, Artem BORODAY, and Yulia PAVLENKO were awarded diplomas from the Department of Education and Science of the Sumy Regional State Administration, Oleksandr CHEKAN, Yarmila TKAL, Tetiana KUCHKOVA, Nataliia YAROSHENKO, Mykola SHELEST, Iryna SHVETS, Yuliia KISHINETS, Yevheniia DEMYDOVA, Tetiana HUCAL and Kateryna MARTIAN.
