On December 26, Sumy National Agrarian University opened a new shelter with equipped training
laboratories thanks to strategic partners CNH Industrial Ukraine and Zhnyva Peremohy.

The rector of the university, Ihor KOVALENKO, made a welcoming speech.

“Now is the time when everyone has to adapt to the circumstances. Especially universities, because
security is above all. It allows students to get education in the classroom. This is what gives the best
results, so we thank our partners for their trust. We will definitely repay you. First of all, with well-trained
students.”

The event was attended by distinguished guests such as:
– Volodymyr ARTYUKH – Head of the Regional Military Administration
– Mykola MAZANYI – CEO of CNH Industrial
– Sergiy LYSENKO – Business Director of Case IH
– Alexander SUKHANOV – Marketing Manager of CNH Industrial
– Sergey SHASHKOV – Deputy Director of JSC “Sumyoblenergo”

After the official part, the guests had a chance to see the premises. The rector of the university
personally conducted a tour of the equipped classrooms and told about the plans for full-time education
next semester.

Thanks to the partners, students of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and the Faculty of Food
Technology will now be able to gain theoretical and practical knowledge and experience despite possible
air raids. During the years of quarantine and the full-scale invasion, students did not often have the
opportunity to attend offline classes. But not only education is incredibly important to the university,
but also the safety of those who work and study here. The shelters equipped with modern repairs and
Internet access is an important condition that makes it possible to work in modern conditions.

We express our sincere gratitude to our partners who invest trust and resources in the university and
enable us to train even more young agricultural professionals for the reconstruction and development
of Ukraine.
