On 16 January, representatives of the Silpo chain of stores visited Sumy NAU to make a self-presentation for students.
The participants of the event had the opportunity to learn more about the store’s management structure, its core values and innovations.
The program had an entertaining overtone, as students not only listened to the presentation but also had the opportunity to receive branded products for correct answers in a game afterward.
Another important emphasis was on the social and environmental awareness of the staff. The ‘Excellers’, as they introduced themselves, are involved in a number of voluntary activities:
– blood donation;
– helping animals;
– cleaning the territories;
– planting trees;
– helping veterans and military personnel;
– creating and improving interactive courses;
During the career guidance part, the participants got acquainted with the experience of students from different parts of Ukraine who combine work and study at Silpo, as well as with employment programmes, available vacancies and life hacks for interviewing.
Finally, during a coffee break, the participants had the opportunity to ask questions and gain new experience and inspiration. The students of the Faculty of Food Technologies were particularly interested in the possibility of internships and were clearly relieved to hear ‘It’s real’.
We express our sincere gratitude to Silpo for the warm visit to our students and for the opportunities provided!
