Advanced training course “Developing teaching skills for higher education lecturers” begins

Sumy National Agrarian University invites you to attend a professional development course entitled
“Developing Teaching Skills for Higher Education Lecturers” — a professional development program for young lecturers and researchers who want to improve their teaching skills and implement modern educational approaches.

The training will be conducted in a blended format, combining online and offline classes, which will ensure convenient participation for all students.
Duration: November 18 to December 19, 2025
Course length: 30 hours (1 ECTS credit)

Upon completion, participants will receive a certificate of professional development

Target audience: young scientists, novice teachers, and graduate students of SNAU who wish to develop modern teaching competencies, improve the quality of their work, and gain new experience in communicating with students.

The course consists of five intensive modules devoted to key aspects of higher education teaching:

  1. The educational process. Organizational features
  2. Ensuring the quality of higher education
  3. Scientific and international activities of teachers
  4. Digitalization of higher education
  5. Personal development of teachers. Psychological and pedagogical aspects of the educational process

The training will be conducted by eleven SNAU speakers — leading university experts whose professional achievements and experience are inspiring:

  • Natalia Parshykova, Director of the Center for Digitalization of the Educational Process
  • Ksenia Blumska-Danko, Associate Professor of the Department of Marketing and Logistics
  • Tetiana Kharchenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Public Management and Administration
  • Ihor Shelekhov, Head of the Department of Cybernetics and Informatics
  • Svitlana Agadzhanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Cybernetics and Informatics
  • Yulia Rudenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Cybernetics and Informatics
  • Olha Semeniuk, Practical Psychologist of the Department of Educational Work Organization
