The educational process at Sumy National Agrarian University is a system of scientifically grounded organizational, methodological, and didactic measures aimed at implementing the content of education at a certain educational and qualification level in accordance with higher education standards and harmonized with the principles of the European Higher Education Area.
The goal of the educational process is to realize an individual’s personal potential, develop their creative abilities, and meet the needs of individuals and society in training competent specialists who are competitive in the national and international labor markets.
The educational process is based on the principles of scientific approach, humanism, democracy, staged education, its consistency and continuity, organic integration of educational and scientific activities, and independence from interference by any political parties, public or religious organizations.
The content of education is formed based on the educational and qualification characteristics and is determined by the educational and professional program, the structural and logical training scheme, curricula, working curricula, the student’s individual curriculum, subject syllabi, and regulatory documents of the state authorities of Ukraine.
The organization of the educational process at Sumy NAU is regulated by the current regulatory and legal documents of Ukraine, the standards of higher education, and takes into account the principles of the European Higher Education Area.
The Academic Department coordinates the educational process at the university in accordance with the above-mentioned principles and the requirements of the European Higher Education Area. This structural unit, together with the faculties and departments, carries out educational, methodological, and organizational functions to ensure and improve the educational process through the implementation of advanced methods and technical means of teaching.
