On January 31, Sumy National Agrarian University hosted a regular meeting of the Academic Council, which was held offline in compliance with quarantine requirements.
The rector of Sumy NAU Volodymyr Ladyka began the meeting. He presented the target performance indicators of vice-rectors and deans of the university.
During the meeting the members of the Academic Council considered current issues of the university. Agenda:
- The results of work in 2021 and prospects of the development of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology. Speaker: The dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology M.Ia. Dovzhyk.
- The results of work in 2021 and prospects of the development of the Faculty of Agrotechnologies and Natural Resource Management. Speaker: The dean of the Faculty of Agrotechnologies and Natural Resource Management I. M. Kovalenko.
- The approval of scholarships based on the results of the autumn semester of 2021-2022 academic year. Speaker: Vice-Rector for Academic Activity V. M. Zhmailov.
- The results and prospects of research work at the university. Speaker: Vice-Rector for Research Work Yu.I. Danko.
- The implementation of the Plan for career guidance work of Sumy National Agrarian University for 2021/2022. Speaker: Rector’s assistant for Career Guidance Work N. M. Melnyk.
As for miscellaneous, the questions related to the scientific work of SNAU, reported by Y.I. Danko, were taken into consideration. Besides, the report of the first vice-rector of Sumy NAU M.P. Kurylo, as a result of which the decision on approval of the Regulation “On the Application of Measures to Resolve Conflicts of Interest in the Activities of Officials of Sumy NAU” was approved.
The information of the rector “On naming the street of the city after Ivan Briukhovetskyi”, the Academic Council decided: to apply to the Sumy City Council with a proposal to rename Zoia Kosmodemianska Street to Ivan Briukhovetskyi Street.
