An online scientific and educational seminar in the form of a lecture for Zero Waste Academy students was held on February 10 by T. Shevchenko, a coordinator of the Jean Monnet project “Production and Dissemination of Circular Economy Ideas According to the EU Action Plan” № 620966-EPP-1-2020-1- UA-EPPJMO-PROJECT.
The lecture on “Used Electrical and Electronic Equipment: Global and National Challenges, Practice of Progressive Countries” was the first case study on this topic. Students from different parts of Ukraine learned at lectures on European legislation in the field of e-waste management and circular EU business strategies, global and national challenges of used equipment. The knowledge gained by ZWA students will contribute to the formation and development of advanced electronic waste management systems in Ukraine in accordance with European norms and standards.
