Many events have already been prepared for the anniversary of Sumy National Agrarian University! One of them was a university-wide educational lesson “SNAU – 45-year history.” The meeting was held online and brought together more than 250 students from all faculties. The speaker was M. Mykhailichenko, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of State and Legal Disciplines and Ukrainian Studies and the Head of the SNAU Museum. Besides the joy of live communication, students listened with keen interest to the 45-year development of the university. A special sensation was from viewing photos about the time of the university as the Sumy branch of the Kharkiv Agricultural Institutenamed after V.V. Dokuchaev. There are 8 faculties in our structure and not everyone knows which of them were the first, and which were opened later. Here is information about this from the report of our speaker: “Training was carried out at two faculties: at the faculty of Agronomy (the first dean was A. Mishniev) and at the faculty of Economics (the first dean was V. Kurgan) in three specialties (Agronomy, Economics, Accounting). 12 lecturers carried out educational work.
