The Royal Agrarian University of Great Britain has provided financial support to Sumy National Agrarian University for the purchase of energy equipment. The assistance is implemented within the framework of the “Twinned Universities” program launched by the Cormack Consultancy Group and UK universities.
Back in April, the “Twinned Universities” program was launched, the purpose of which is comprehensive support of Ukrainian universities by their British partners. The partner of SNAU in the project is the Royal Agrarian University. University assistance is provided in various directions. Thus, two scientists from the Faculty of Economics and Management Iryna Skliar and Liudmyla Batsenko received grants for internships at this educational institution. A fundraising program to support SNAU was launched.
This week the partner university transferred funds for the purchase of a solid fuel boiler for the university’s greenhouse complex. In the conditions of military aggression, the issue of energy saving and provision of alternative sources of heat is a priority.
