On 20.09.2022, Sumy National Agrarian University celebrated the International Day of student sports. V. Maslov (Head of the Sumy regional branch of the committee on physical education and sports), I. Kovalenko (Vice-rector for scientific, pedagogical and educational work of SNAU), N. Kolodnenko (chairman of the trade union organization of SNAU), S. Kharchenko (Head of the Department of physical education of SNAU) were present at the meeting.
During the holiday they remembered athletes-residents of the region who died during a full-scale invasion. Each of us should remember what invaluable losses are given to victory and a peaceful independent life.
For active participation in sports life, significant personal contribution to the development of sports of Sumy National Agrarian University and on the occasion of the day of Physical Culture and Sports, the rector’s gratitude was awarded to the following teachers and employees of the University: S.Kharchenko, P.Rybalka, I.Samokhvalova, A. Khomenko, I.Salatenko, A. Butenko and others.
For personal contribution to the development of physical education among students of Sumy National Agrarian University and on the occasion of the celebration of the International Sports Day, the rector’s gratitude was awarded to: Oleh Lehkyj (a student of the Faculty of Law); Khrystyna Volkova (a student of the Faculty of Law); Mykolа Kolomiiets (a student of the Faculty of Law); Serhii Lyakhovets (a student of the Faculty of Biology and Technology); Yehor Seliuk (a student of the Faculty of Biology and Technology) and others.
At the end of the holiday Lina Babych, a student of the Faculty of Economics and Management, sang a song for guests.
