From September 11 to 18, 2022, the Polish-Ukrainian School “Polish-Ukrainian Summer Camp for Young Scientists” was held in Warsaw. 33 young scientists from Ukraine were invited to join it. One of the participants was Svetlana Yaroshchuk, a senior researcher of the Research Department of Sumy NAU.
The project is aimed at creating a common Research Future between Polish and Ukrainian academic societies. During the internship the school participants had an opportunity to get acquainted with the employees of Warsaw educational institutions and their research infrastructure, as well as to take part in trainings, seminars and cultural events.
During the internship Svitlana Yaroshchuk had an opportunity to get acquainted with the scientific laboratories of the Faculty of Forestry of Warsaw University of Life Sciences. The most interesting part of the trip was to meet the scientists of the faculty, in particular Mr. Wojciech Kędziora, Associate Professor of the Institute of Forest Sciences. They discussed different common international projects.
We thank our international partners for the opportunity to deepen the professional skills of employees of Sumy National Agrarian University, increasing the level of higher education in Ukraine.
