On January 22, Ukrainians traditionally celebrate the Ukrainian Unity Day. The holiday is devoted to the proclamation of the Unification Act of Ukrainian People’s Republic (UPR) and the West Ukrainian People’s Republic (WUPR).
The staff of Sumy National Agrarian University joined the city events on the occasion of the Ukrainian Unity Day. First, Agravard residents became participants in the prayer service for cathedral Ukraine, which took place in the Holy Resurrection Cathedral. In addition, young people have already traditionally carried the flag of our Motherland along Soborna Street to the monument to T. Shevchenko. The event ended with the laying of flowers to the monument.
We congratulate Ukrainians on an extremely important day in the history of the Motherland. On January 22, 1919, our country united. Every year since then, we have proved our indivisibility and unity to the whole world.
Our unity was especially evident from the beginning of the russian-Ukrainian war, occupation and annexation of territories. We sacrifice the last for those who are left without homes. We will jointly donate to Starlinks and Bayraktars. We collect and transport the humanitarian help. WE were and are together – this is the strength of Ukrainians. And together we will defeat the aggressor, heal physical and mental wounds, rebuild the country of the happiest and most successful people.
Everything will be UNITED UKRAINE!
