Sumy National Agrarian University is one of the recipients of the grant provided by ALLEA (European Federation of Academies of Natural Sciences and Humanities) within the framework of the Program of the European Fund for Displaced Scientists (EFDS). The European Fund for Displaced Scientists (EFDS) Program, under the second line of this program, enables affected Ukrainian universities, academies and research institutes to maintain their activities and restore scientific bases and research collaborations. Funding will also support the reintegration process of researchers after their return to post-war Ukraine.
Sumy National Agrarian University within the framework of this grant plans to support the activities of the Scientific Laboratory of Ecological Agriculture and Natural Resource Management, as well as to use these funds in a synergistic way with the program of cooperation with the Royal Agrarian University of Great Britain in the direction of Forensic Agriculture (forensic examination of agriculture) to facilitate analysis and cleaning agricultural lands, polluted and damaged as a result of hostilities, to their intended use.
Valid from 01.11.2022 to 01.09.2023.
Five scientists will have the opportunity to receive payments.
The amount of the grant is EUR 57,400, of which about EUR 25,000 is intended for the purchase of equipment and consumables for scientific research.
