During the week (from May 10 to 14), the Department for Organizing the Educational Activity with Students of SNAU initiated various activities and events for the student youth of our institution of higher education.
On April 10, another meeting of the members of the book club “Khata Chitalnia” took place. Together with A. Shevel, the audience discussed M. Zuzak’s novel “The Book Thief”. The next meeting will be held in a month and the participants will discuss the book “Five Quarters of an Orange” by Joan Harris.
On April 11-12, a master class on creating Easter eggs was held for the students of the university and “Sumy College of SNAU”. D. Derevianchenko, a 1st-year student of veterinary medicine department, shared her experience with the participants of the master class. She told the story of the creation of Easter eggs and interesting facts about the symbols and colours of the ornaments. She showed how to create the unique Easter egg and taught how to use the most important tool of this art, the “pisachok”.
In addition, a charity event “Bright deeds to the bright day” was held for the children of the orphanage. Together with the educator of the hall of residence, N. DEHTYAROVA, the student activist collected donations, visited the orphanage, gave Easter gifts to the children and helped with the improvement of the playground.
SNAU youth also took part in city events.
