Sumy National Agrarian University had a great opportunity to meet within its walls representatives of the successful Ukrainian company RGM Group in order to create a cooperation to provide the possibility of dual education.
RGM Group is a modern road construction company that provides services in the construction of roads and bridges, in the production for road infrastructure.
In order to deepen the cooperation between the RGM Group company and Sumy National Agrarian University, representatives of both sides held a roundtable during which they discussed important points of implementing cooperation in the form of the possibility of obtaining dual education at the enterprise.
The event of Sumy NAU was attended by Rector Volodymyr LADYKA, Vice-Rector for Research and International Activities Yurii DANKO, Vice-Rector for Scientific, Pedagogical and Educational Activities Ihor KOVALENKO, Dean of the Faculty of Construction and Transport Oleksandr SOLAROV, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Margarita LYSHENKO and Deputy Deans of the Faculty of Construction and Transport.
First, the Rector of Sumy NAU, Volodymyr LADYKA, welcomed the participants of the event and emphasized the importance of the university’s cooperation with such powerful companies. He emphasized the need to introduce dual education in company-university cooperation.
Yana SELINA, Executive Director of the RGM Group and Ihor LARCHENKO, Commercial Director of the same company, were representatives of the RGM Group.
Yana SELINA presented the company, its activities, work features and main orientations.
Commercial Director Ihor LARCHENKO emphasized that cooperation with the university is very important to the company.
The unique culmination of the meeting was the company’s proposal for a grant for students of the Faculty of Construction and Transport to develop their own construction projects.
At the end of the visit the Dean of the Faculty of Construction and Transport, Oleksandr SOLAROV, introduced the company’s representatives to the material and technical base, with the help of which students have the opportunity to acquire theoretical knowledge and put it into practice directly at the university.
It should also be noted that during the event, the Director of the Sumy Construction College Oleksandr FILATOV took an active part in the discussions.
