On September 13, 2024, members of the Academic Council of Sumy National Agrarian University gathered for a meeting. The two issues put on the agenda concern the support of young scientists who, with their fruitful work, increase the rating of SNAU at the national and international levels. Employees are offered to be nominated in two ways:
1. On the support of candidates for participation in the competition for obtaining a scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists (Speaker: Acting Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Activities Oleksandr IVCHENKO)
2. About the support of candidates for participation in the competition for obtaining state scholarships for the best young scientists to perpetuate the events of the Revolution of Dignity and honor the feat of the Heroes of Ukraine – the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred. (Speaker: acting vice-rector for scientific and international activities Oleksandr IVCHENKO)
The list of five young scientists who claim to receive honorary degrees was announced to those present.
There are three candidates for a scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from SNAU:
• Tetiana Pavlivna SYNENKO (Doctor of Philosophy, Associate Professor of the Department of Technology and Food Safety);
• Viktoriia Ihorivna SHUMKOVA (candidate of economic sciences, associate professor of the Department of Marketing and Logistics);
• Svitlana Vasylivna YAROSHCHUK (candidate of agricultural sciences, head of the postgraduate and doctoral studies department).
Two representatives of SNAU are applying to receive a state named scholarship for the best young scientists to perpetuate the events of the Revolution of Dignity and honor the feat of the Heroes of Ukraine – Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred:
• Oksana Mykolaivna DATSKO (Doctor of Philosophy, senior lecturer of the Department of Agricultural Technologies and Soil Science);
• Oleksandr Pavlovych NOVYTSKYI (candidate of technical sciences, head of the department of construction and operation of buildings, roads and transport facilities).
All members of the Academic Council who were present at the planned meeting voted to support the candidacies from the university. Three members of the counting commission, consisting of: Vladyslav Mykolaiovych ZUBKO, Maryna Yuriivna KUZNETSOVA and Liudmyla Volodymyrivna VARENYK collected the ballots and counted the results.
In the end, each of the candidates received support from Sumy National Agrarian University. We wish success to young scientists and hope that their activity and scientific achievements will be recognized at the state level!
