WORKING AND SIGHTSEEING TRIP TO THE GLOBINO GROUP OF COMPANIES

On 20 February 2025, students and teachers of the Faculty of Food Technologies visited Globino Meat Processing Plant LLC and Globino Butter and Cheese Factory. LLC. Globinsky Butter Plant LLC is a Ukrainian dairy producer. The applicants visited the workshops for the production of fermented milk products, cheeses (hard, soft, processed), the receiving department and packaging.

It is worth noting that Globino is known for its sausage products. Therefore, the highlight of the trip was an excursion to Globino Meat Processing Plant LLC. Globino Meat Processing Plant LLC is a leading enterprise with a rich production tradition, which today is one of the top three meat producers in our country. The company is also known far beyond its borders and contributes in every possible way to the formation of a positive image of Ukraine in Europe. The company has a large production scale, which is unlikely to be explored in a day. Because of lack of time, the students and teachers were able to see only a part of the giant enterprise. In particular, they visited the carcass and sausage development workshop, the packaging and expedition departments. The students saw modern equipment and robotic packaging systems for the first time. They got acquainted with the organisation of HACCP at the enterprise, the requirements for the quality of raw materials, control of semi-finished and finished products. The applicants were impressed by the company’s attitude to quality and high requirements for safety indicators.

The wonderful visual tour was accompanied by interesting reports from the company’s employees: Larysa CHUMAK, a technologist for the production and processing of livestock products, and Larysa KHOLOD, a technologist for the production and processing of livestock products. The students and teachers are grateful to the company for the interesting stories.
