Published: August 22, 2025

In August 2025, Ksenia Blumska-Danko, associate professor at the Department of Marketing and Logistics at Sumy National Agrarian University, became a lecturer in The BOOST: Green Futures Challenge program, which is implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Europe and Central Asia with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.

The project aims to identify, develop, and scale innovative green solutions from startups and small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine and Moldova. Its main goal is to support sustainable development, digital solutions, and circular economy initiatives that promote green recovery and economic resilience.

The program will select up to 40 teams to work on solutions in priority areas: energy security and sustainable access to energy, circular economy and sustainable business models, climate-resilient infrastructure and urban development, green finance and impact investing, as well as sustainable solutions in the field of recovery and healthcare. For Ukraine, participation in this program is an important step towards integrating modern green practices into business and society.

One of the speakers at the event was Ksenia Blumska-Danko, associate professor at the Department of Marketing and Logistics at Sumy National Agrarian University. The scientist has over 10 years of experience managing the SNAU Promotion Office, is a researcher at the University of Paris-Saclay (France), an Erasmus grant project implementer, and a mentor for startups within the UN Global Compact SEEDs project. She is the author of over 40 scientific publications in scientific journals, a lecturer in branding, public relations, marketing, and public speaking for students from different countries, as well as a personal branding coach in European educational programs

The topic of her lecture was “Impact Branding”: a modern strategy that makes a brand not only recognizable but also emotionally meaningful to the audience, transforming a product or service into a story and experience that builds trust and a lasting connection with the customer. Marketing never stands still, and selling emotions has become a real hit this year. But knowledge of theory has never been enough, and during her speech, Ksenia Valeriivna helped leading business projects learn how to use their media resources correctly and build a brand development strategy.

Sumy NAU is proud to have highly qualified masters of their craft on its team, who prove their expertise not with words, but with actions. The participation of our teachers in such prestigious international events is an important achievement that confirms the high level of scientific and pedagogical staff and the international authority of the university.
