Hello! My name is Maria Petukhova, and I am responsible for managing the social networks of the trade union of students and postgraduates of SNAU.
I am a 4th year student in the specialty 075 “Marketing” at the Faculty of Economics and Management, I am the head of the group. I actively participate in scientific conferences and like to conduct marketing research, especially related to our beloved city of Sumy.
I have extensive experience in self-government – from the first days of study I managed to organize various initiatives and events as the deputy student dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management for volunteer work, then in the second year I headed the faculty as the student dean and, together with a close-knit team, worked to strengthen the media presence and career guidance activities of the faculty. The third year was a “breakthrough” in terms of the scale of my work, because then I moved to the student administration of SNAU to the position of student vice-rector for academic, scientific and international activities. During the year of my tenure, I managed to create the “Guide for freshmen of SNAU”, “Guide for writing theses at SNAU” and conduct, together with a colleague from the primary trade union organization of students and postgraduates, a training on writing theses.
In addition, since April 4, 2025, I have been the current head of the Separate Unit of the Public Organization “Ukrainian Student League” in Sumy.
I have been working as a journalist in the Media Center of SNAU for almost a year now.
I joined the primary trade union organization of students and postgraduates of SNAU because I want the rights of our applicants to be adequately protected, their interests to be represented, and information about them to be conveyed clearly and visually attractively.
