From 17 to 21 November 2025, Sumy National Agrarian University held the anniversary 20th All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference of Students and Postgraduates dedicated to International Students’ Day. The event became a large-scale platform for presenting modern scientific ideas, bringing together young researchers from all faculties and demonstrating the strong potential of Ukrainian scientific youth.
The thematic sections of this year’s conference covered the most pressing issues and challenges facing education, science, the economy, technology, ecology, and the social and humanitarian spheres. Participants presented the results of their own research, innovative approaches, analytical reviews, and practical proposals for the modernization of professional activity across various fields.
Particular attention was paid to the extended meeting of the Scientific Coordination Council, during which postgraduate students presented the objectives and interim results of their dissertation research, discussing the challenges and prospects of further scientific work. The event fostered stronger intra-university scientific collaboration and constructive academic dialogue.
The anniversary date — twenty years of the conference — is a significant confirmation of the university’s strong scientific traditions and its consistent support for the development of young researchers’ potential. SNAU continuously creates a favorable environment for the intellectual growth of students and postgraduates, ensuring opportunities to present research findings and integrate into professional scientific communities in Ukraine and beyond.
During the official opening, Vice-Rector for Research and International Activities Yurii Danko emphasized:
“Young researchers are a strategic resource that defines the future of both the university and the state. Our task is to create conditions for the implementation of their ideas, support ambitious scientific projects, and develop a culture of professional research. The anniversary of the conference demonstrates that science at SNAU is developing dynamically, confidently and effectively.”
The conference resulted in constructive discussions, substantial scientific exchange, and the outlining of prospects for further research. The event confirmed the high level of preparation of SNAU’s young scientists and their ability to offer practically significant solutions to today’s urgent challenges.
