In early December, Sumy National Agrarian University launched a new partnership with the public organisation ‘Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine’ aimed at strengthening the practical component of training law students and developing the university’s professional legal community.
The public organisation ‘Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine’ brings together active researchers, teachers, young professionals and representatives of the legal sphere who work to promote science, improve legal culture and create professional opportunities for young people. The organisation implements educational and scientific-educational projects, conducts training sessions, discussion platforms, legal education events, and supports young professionals on their path to professional development.
The cooperation between SNAU and the PO ‘Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine’ will expand opportunities for law students: applicants will be able to engage in practical work, participate in legal initiatives, and improve their legal writing, public speaking, and analytical thinking skills. The partnership will be beneficial for all parties — the university will get new resources and teaching tools, the PO will expand its expert and educational activities, and students will be able to develop competitive professional competencies.
The cooperation agreement was signed by SNAU Rector Ihor Kovalenko and Chairman of the Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine Yevhen Kotorobai. The agreement was facilitated by Dean of the Faculty of Law Oleg Rohovenko and private lawyer, Associate Professor of the Department of Private Law and Social Security Valentina Nezhevelo.
SNAU highly values this new partnership, which will strengthen the practical and educational components of training future lawyers. We wish for the continued successful development of cooperation and confident steps towards new educational and scientific achievements.
