In August and November 2025, two modules of AgroStart 2.0 internal training were held in Ladyzhyn, Vinnytsia region, by the partner company of Sumy National Agrarian University — MHP. Anton Vetoshko, a student of the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Environmental Management, who works at the company under a dual education agreement, was invited to participate in this generation’s programme and successfully completed it.
MHP is one of Ukraine’s leading agricultural holdings and a long-standing partner of SNAU in implementing dual training for specialists. The cooperation between the university and the company allows students to gain real production experience, work under modern technological conditions, deepen their professional competencies and build their career path while still studying.
AgroStart is MHP’s internal training programme for young professionals with up to one year of work experience, aimed at the systematic development of professional and communication skills. Participants undergo intensive training throughout the modules, where they learn about the work of various departments, technological processes, and production standards of the company. This year, Anton Vetoshko, a SNAU student, joined the programme, combining his studies with work at the company since August 2024.
Anton shared his impressions of participating in the programme and dual education in general:
“It was an extremely intense period of comprehensive development — we honed both soft skills and professional skills. The most valuable part was communicating with the top management of the agricultural holding: hub technologists and the production director, who manages 360,000 hectares. Not everyone gets such an opportunity, the main thing is to use it correctly. By the way, I took my first step at MHP thanks to the AgroFuture student programme.”
The partnership between SNAU, MHP, and students demonstrates the effectiveness of dual education as a modern format for training specialists. It allows the university to provide practice-oriented training, the company to attract young specialists, and students to gain quality experience and real prospects for professional growth.
