New Year Fairy Tale at SNAU: The University Presents a Holiday and Faith in Miracles to Children from Border Communities

Published: December 16, 2025

Sumy National Agrarian University is implementing a social initiative aimed at supporting children from the border communities of the Sumy region by organizing New Year’s theatrical performances ahead of the Christmas and New Year holidays.

The organizer of the events is Sumy National Agrarian University, and the coordination of the preparation and holding of New Year’s performances is carried out by the Department for the Organization of Educational Work with Students, which has united the student community to bring children joy and positive emotions.

The festive program for young guests was prepared by SNAU students. Fairy-tale characters, music, games, and sincere interaction create a safe and cheerful space where children can, for a while, forget their worries and believe in the magic of the New Year.

Importantly, all events within this initiative are held in compliance with current safety requirements and take place in a certified shelter, ensuring the highest possible level of protection for children and accompanying adults.

By implementing this social initiative, SNAU reaffirms its role as a community-oriented university that not only provides education and conducts research but also actively supports the region and its residents during these challenging times for the country.

Sumy National Agrarian University continues to be a space of humanity, solidarity, and care, where children from border communities can experience a true New Year miracle.
