Sumy National Agrarian University continues to expand its partnership with leading scientific institutions of Ukraine. Recently, the university signed cooperation agreements with the Institute of Food Biotechnology and Genomics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine and the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine.
The partnership is aimed at systematic interaction in the field of fundamental and applied research, the development of interdisciplinary scientific areas, joint implementation of research and educational projects, as well as the involvement of modern scientific infrastructure and expert potential of the country’s leading academic institutions.
Special emphasis in cooperation is placed on areas that shape the future of the agricultural sector and food security of the state, meet the challenges of post-war reconstruction and require a combination of biotechnological, genomic, educational and management solutions.
SNAU consistently invests in the development of human capital of science. Today, the university has a powerful community of young scientists capable of working in accordance with modern world scientific standards. Cooperation with institutions of the National and branch academies of sciences creates conditions for their professional growth, access to advanced research and the dissemination of scientific results at the national and international levels.
The signed agreements are part of the long-term strategy of SNAU to form a strong university scientific centre integrated with academic science, the real sector of the economy and the educational policy of the state. It is this model of partnership that ensures the sustainable development of university science and its practical contribution to the development of Ukraine.
