On 30 December 2025, Sumy National Agrarian University held a solemn ceremony to award master’s degrees, an event that marked the culmination of several years of hard work and an important stage in the professional development of graduates.
The university brought together the leadership of SNAU, members of the Academic Council, lecturers, parents, and the main participants of the celebration — master’s degree students from the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Environmental Management and the Faculty of Economics and Management.
The Rector of SNAU, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Ihor KOVALENKO, addressed the graduates with a welcoming speech, emphasising that the knowledge and practical experience gained at the university should become a solid foundation for further professional activity and responsible decisions. Marharita LYSHENKO, Vice-Rector for Scientific, Pedagogical and Educational Work, Doctor of Economics, Professor, and Yuriy DANKO, Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Activities, Doctor of Economics, Professor, also joined in congratulating the graduates.
A special part of the ceremony was the traditional initiation into master’s degrees — a symbolic moment of entry into the professional and academic community of SNAU.
In 2025, the Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Environmental Management trained 120 master’s degree students, seven of whom got diplomas with honours. The Faculty of Economics and Management graduated 128 master’s degree students in seven specialities and educational programmes, five of whom graduated with honours. Twenty-two higher education seekers attended the graduation ceremony.
The Deans of the faculties, Serhiy HORBAS, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor, and Svitlana LUKASH, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor, addressed the graduates with warm words of encouragement, wishing them professional fulfilment, responsibility and readiness for the challenges of the modern world.
The ceremony ended with a group photo, which became a symbol of the unity of the university community and the beginning of a new stage in the lives of the graduates.
Sumy National Agrarian University sincerely congratulates the masters on the completion of their studies and wishes them confident progress, professional achievements and the application of their acquired knowledge for the benefit of Ukraine.
