On January 23, 2026, the Conference of the Labor Collective of Sumy National Agrarian University was held in a mixed format. During the event, key issues of the institution’s activities in 2025 were considered and the main directions of further development were identified.
The Conference of the Labor Collective is a form of self-government and the highest collegial body of the university. Through employee delegates, it makes strategically important decisions, approves the collective agreement and evaluates the work of the management.
According to the agenda, the conference participants heard a report by the rector of SNAU, Professor Ihor Kovalenko, as well as a report by the head of the primary trade union organization of teachers and employees of SNAU Nataliia Kolodnenko. The reports comprehensively covered the main challenges and achievements of the university in 2025 – from scientific activity to the development of educational programs and infrastructure.
The conference was attended by scientific and pedagogical workers, university employees, directors of separate structural divisions of professional colleges, as well as students of the higher education institution. Following the discussion, the participants summarized the reports heard and noted the high level of cohesion and readiness of the team for further effective work and development of new results.
The conference confirmed the openness of management processes, consistency in making strategic decisions, and the shared responsibility of the team for the sustainable development of the university in the face of modern challenges.
