On February 5, 2026, Sumy National Agrarian University and the “Friends of Ukraine Foundation” officially formalized their partnership. SNAU Rector Ihor Kovalenko and Foundation Director Anton Hulidin signed a memorandum that will serve as the foundation for the development of social inclusion at the university.
This step is part of the new SNAU Development Strategy for 2026–2030. The university seeks to completely rethink the educational space, making it as accessible as possible for everyone, regardless of physical abilities.
Key areas of cooperation:
In wartime, accessibility has become a critical issue. The number of people who need special conditions for learning and communication is growing, so SNAU is taking on the role of a social hub where everyone feels supported.
The goal of the partnership is simple but ambitious: to create an environment where hearing impairments do not become a barrier to realizing one’s potential, and where the university community is a model of openness and human-centeredness.
