From February 9 to 13, 2026, the XIV International Scientific and Technical Conference “Advanced Technologies in Mechanical Engineering” (ATME 2026) was held at the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas in cooperation with the Lviv Polytechnic National University. The event brought together an international community of experts to discuss current innovations in the field of mechanical engineering.
Over the course of several days, dozens of scientists from all over Ukraine and abroad presented the results of their research in the field of mechanical engineering, advanced manufacturing technologies, digital design tools, mechatronic and logistics systems, surface engineering, and material processing technologies.
Sumy National Agrarian University presented two reports on the results of joint research conducted by specialists from the Faculty of Engineering and Technology and TRIZ LTD (a branch of the Department of Technical Service and Industrial Engineering). The presented developments demonstrated the effectiveness of combining the scientific potential of the university with the production capabilities of partners.
“The conference has traditionally become a space for scientific discussions in a technically innovative environment, where engineering and educational approaches and applied research intersect. The events, which are being implemented despite the current difficult conditions, are the basis for further development and high-quality training of applicants,” said event participant Natalia Tarelnyk, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Technical Systems Design.
Participation in a conference of this level contributes to strengthening the university’s scientific position, expanding international cooperation, and integrating the results of applied research into industrial practice.
For SNAU, this is an important step in the development of engineering education, deepening partnerships, and forming new joint projects that will determine the prospects for scientific and technical growth in the future.
