Sumy National Agrarian University is expanding its cooperation with representatives of the creative gastronomic industry. On March 4, the university signed a Memorandum of Partnership and Cooperation with Yulia Yevenko, founder of the “Shnobel” restaurant and “the Chocolate” creative agency.
The document was signed by the rector of Sumy NAU, Ihor Kovalenko, and Yulia Yevenko. The memorandum aims to develop partnerships between the academic community and the modern gastronomic business, opening up new opportunities for students and teachers at the university.
The collaboration involves organizing guest lectures, master classes, and educational events with the participation of specialists in the gastronomic and creative industries. Applicants will also have the opportunity to undergo practical training and internships, participate in the implementation of real brand projects, and gain practical experience in the fields of gastronomy, marketing, and creative industries.
The partners will pay special attention to promoting contemporary Ukrainian gastronomic culture and developing craft cuisine. The plans also include holding joint cultural, educational, and gastronomic events, as well as involving business experts in updating educational programs in the fields of food technology and marketing.
The interaction between the university and business will promote the development of practice-oriented education and help applicants better prepare for work in the modern gastronomic industry.
