On March 28, during a meeting of the “Government-Business Dialogue” platform, participants discussed recent legislative changes in the areas of food safety, animal welfare, phytosanitary control, and the registration of agricultural machinery in the context of Ukraine’s economic alignment with European standards.
During the meeting, the honorary advisor to the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration was introduced—Vladimir Ladyka, former rector of Sumy National Agrarian University, Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, professor, and academician of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
The appointment of Volodymyr Ladyka reflects the high level of confidence in his professional experience and expertise. His many years of research and administrative work, as well as his significant contributions to the development of agricultural education and science, will help strengthen cooperation between the scientific community and government authorities.
Involving representatives of the academic community in regional governance is an important step toward shaping effective management decisions and developing the region based on a scientific approach.
