Sumy National Agrarian University ranked 16th in the nationwide “Top 25 Universities of Ukraine — 2026” ranking compiled by the online magazine Focus, confidently securing its place among the country’s leading higher education institutions.
Voting for universities took place from April 20 to April 29, and the final results were announced on April 30. More than 50 higher education institutions across Ukraine participated. SNAU not only made it into the top 25 but also demonstrated a high level of trust and support, receiving over 3,000 votes. This confirms that specialized agricultural education in Ukraine is in demand, relevant, and plays a significant role in the country’s development.
The ranking was based on open voting, reflecting genuine public support from the community, students, and partners who highly value the quality of education, scientific achievements, and the contribution of institutions to national development, even under current challenges.
Sumy National Agrarian University continues to develop, introducing new and updating existing educational programs in line with labor market needs, expanding its network of Ukrainian and international partnerships, and systematically ensuring a safe educational environment for students and staff. Despite the challenges of wartime and its location in a frontline, the university maintains uninterrupted educational and research processes, continues training specialists, implements modern learning formats, advances scientific research, and supports academic mobility for students and faculty. SNAU remains a space of resilience, combining safety, high-quality education, and innovative development.
Participation in such rankings is an important tool for shaping an objective image of the university and recognizing its achievements at the national level.
