Andrii Boiar, a student at the Faculty of Law of Sumy National Agrarian University, represented Ukraine with distinction at the European Cossack Combat Championship, which took place on 8–11 May 2026 in Slovenia.
Based on the results of the international competition, Andrii demonstrated a high level of athletic training, strength of character and perseverance, winning three podium places in different categories of the competition:
In addition to his international achievements, on 14–15 May in Khmelnytskyi, Andrii took part in the Ukrainian Pankration Cup for adults, where he came third in the traditional category in the under-84 kg weight class.
These results are a testament to the student’s systematic work, high level of sporting skill and determination. Participation in prestigious international and national competitions has become an important stage in Andrii’s professional sporting development and confirmation of his competitiveness amongst the strongest athletes.
Another significant milestone in the student’s sporting career was his being awarded the title of Master of Sport of Ukraine in free-fight, which is a significant recognition of his professional achievements and hard work.
On his social media, Andrii thanked everyone who supports his sporting way, and also expressed special gratitude to the Ukrainian defenders, thanks to whom Ukrainian athletes have the opportunity to represent the country on the international stage.
