Sumy National Agrarian University continues to confidently strengthen its position among the leading higher education institutions of the country. According to the results of the academic ranking “Top-200 Ukraine 2026”, published by the Center for International Projects “Euroeducation” on June 29, SNAU took 32nd place among almost 200 Ukrainian universities, entering the TOP-35 best higher education institutions of Ukraine.
The “Top-200 Ukraine” rating has been one of the most authoritative national instruments for assessing the activities of universities for twenty years. Its methodology is based on the recommendations of the international expert network IREG Observatory on Academic Ranking and Excellence and takes into account a set of indicators that characterize the quality of education, scientific activity, international recognition, innovative potential and the university’s impact on the development of society.
SNAU’s high result was made possible thanks to the systematic work of the university community. When forming the rating, the university’s positions in leading international evaluation systems were taken into account, in particular QS World University Rankings, QS Sustainability, Times Higher Education World University Rankings, SCImago Institutions Rankings, Scopus scientometric database indicators, results of participation in scientific competitions, accreditation activities, patent activity and other criteria that comprehensively characterize the development of a modern university.
