September was a month of major athletic victories for Andriy Boyar, a law student at Sumy National Agrarian University. This month, Andriy not only won awards at the national and international levels but also received a prestigious athletic title—Master of Sports of Ukraine (International Class) in Cossack dual combat.
For this student, balancing his studies with high-level sports requires daily effort, discipline, and a willingness to constantly raise the bar for himself. And his results from September clearly demonstrate this.
On September 10–13, the Ukrainian Adult Grappling and Pankration Championships were held in Ivano-Frankivsk. Andriy Boyar won two bronze medals:
But just a few days later, a new challenge awaited the SNAU student—this time on the international stage.
On September 17–20, the World Cossack Combat Championship for adults took place in Dornbirn, Austria. Andriy delivered an outstanding performance and returned with two gold and one silver medal:
Thus, in the month of September alone, an SNAU student won five awards at Ukrainian and world championships, and his performances served as yet another testament to his high level of training.
It is particularly gratifying for SNAU that our students are among the athletes making a name for themselves on the national and international stages. Andriy Boyar balances his studies at the Law School with professional sports and, through his achievements, proudly represents the university far beyond its borders.
We sincerely congratulate Andriy on being awarded the title of Master of Sports of Ukraine (International Class) and on his outstanding results in September! We wish him strength, new athletic achievements, confidence in his abilities, and victories in upcoming competitions. We are proud of him and are rooting for his future successes!
