On December 26, 2025, Sumy National Agrarian University held a regular meeting of the Academic Council, during which key issues of the university’s educational, scientific, and organizational activities were discussed.
The first item on the agenda was the report of the Admissions Committee “On the results of the 2025 admissions campaign.” The report was presented by Viktor Serhienko, Executive Secretary of the Admissions Committee, who presented the results of the admissions campaign, summarized its findings, and outlined the main quantitative and qualitative indicators of the enrollment of higher education applicants.
The second issue concerned the activities of the SNAU Scientific Library in the context of providing information support for the educational and scientific process. The report was presented by the director of the Scientific Library, Olena Behmenko, who focused on the role of the library in supporting the educational and scientific activities of the university and developing information resources and services for participants in the educational process.
During the discussion of the item “Miscellaneous,” the Academic Council reviewed issues related to the organization of the educational process, which were raised based on the results of the meeting of the Council for Quality Assurance in Education and Higher Education. Marharyta Lyshenko, Vice-Rector for Scientific, Pedagogical, and Educational Work, presented a report on this topic.
The issue of the university’s scientific work was considered separately, based on the results of the meeting of the Scientific and Coordination Council of the SNAU. The report was presented by Yuriy Danko, Vice-Rector for Scientific and International Activities, who outlined the priority areas for the development of scientific activities and international cooperation.
Following the discussion, the Academic Council adopted relevant decisions aimed at ensuring the quality of the educational process, developing scientific potential, and further systematically improving the activities of Sumy National Agrarian University.
