A MEMORANDUM ON COOPERATION BETWEEN EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS, LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND BUSINESS OF THE AGRICULTURAL COMPLEX WAS SIGNED IN SNAU

On September 8, 2022, at Sumy National Agrarian University the signing of the Memorandum on Cooperation between the Sumy Regional State Administration, the Sumy National Agrarian University and the Association “Union of the Agricultural Enterprises of Sumy Region” represented by the agrarian business of the region took place.

Among the present parties of the Memorandum were: I. Shumik, General Manager of the Vocational Education Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine; V. Ladyka, the Rector of SNAU; V. Hrobova, Director of the Department of Education and Science of the Sumy Regional State Administration; O. Butyrsky, Deputy Director of the Department of Agro-Industrial Development of the Sumy Regional State Administration; O. Kartavy, the Head of the association “Union of the Agricultural Enterprises of Sumy Region”.

At the beginning of the meeting the participants were shown the unique new means of training specialists of the agro-industrial complex, which were provided through cooperation with business and the authorities: indoor proving ground (the only one in Ukraine; Elworthy company class; a virtual reality laboratory; Center for precision agriculture; milk production and processing laboratory.

The next stage of the meeting was the discussion of the presentation “Vertically integrated personnel training system for the agrarian business of the North-East of Ukraine 2022”, which was developed by the SNAU team for more than three months. Besides, for their establishment as competitive and qualified workers, the cooperation of educational institutions, government and business is of primary importance.

The conclusion was the signing of the Memorandum on cooperation between the Sumy Regional State Administration, the Sumy National Agrarian University and the Association “Union of the Agrarian Enterprises of Sumy Region”.
