On August 24, 2025, on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy presented Rector of Sumy National Agrarian University Ihor Kovalenko with an honorary award and awarded him the title of Honoured Worker of Education of Ukraine.
This high state recognition is a confirmation of many years of dedicated work, a significant contribution to the development of national education and science, as well as the formation of new generations of highly qualified specialists for the agricultural sector. The title of “Honoured Worker of Education of Ukraine” is not only a personal distinction of the rector, but also a recognition of the authority of the entire team of the SNAU, which confidently asserts the university’s position in the educational and scientific space.
The university community is sincerely proud of its rector and his achievements, which glorify Sumy National Agrarian University at the national and international levels.
