On August 29, we honour the cherished memory of the heroes who gave their lives for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. For Sumy National Agrarian University, as well as for our entire country, gratitude and respect for those who have defended and are defending Ukraine are extremely important values that shape national consciousness and strengthen our unity.
We remember everyone who has stood up to defend our homeland and bow our heads in respect of their heroic deeds. The memory of the fallen is not only a symbol of grief, but also a source of strength and inspiration for future generations.
The SNAU community recognizes the importance of supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and all the defenders who daily defend the peaceful sky and the right of our people to live in a free country. Today, each of us is responsible for preserving this memory and for our common cause – building a strong and just state.
Remember our heroes and heroines not only on memorial days. Stop and bow your head during the national minute of silence at 9:00 every morning.
