Dual training always involves a high level of cooperation between the educational institution, the student and the company. One of the key employer-partners of the successful implementation of dual education at the Sumy National Agrarian University for several years now is JSC “MBP (Myronivskii Bread Product)”.
Olena Azeieva, Head of the vocational training department of the Center for Personnel Development of the MBP agro-industrial holding, visited Sumy NAU on a working visit on the 8th of May. During the visit, a working meeting was held with the management of the university, during which strategic steps for the development of cooperation between Sumy NAU and JSC “MBP” were worked out.
“Our educational project on the introduction of a dual form of education has been successfully implemented at “MBP” for three years, changing Ukrainian education for the better, and helping students acquire practical skills in their profession. Thanks to the dual form of education, the process of students’ assimilation of theoretical knowledge, which is necessary for professional growth, is accelerated. Also, students who study in this form get used to working in a team and at an enterprise much faster”, said Olena Azeieva.
The material and technical base of the university is a reliable foundation in the preparation of the applicant to improve and expand the range of competencies in production conditions. Olena Azeieva familiarized herself with updates of the material and technical base of the Sumy NAU. In particular, she visited the innovative module of virtual reality and robotics, the “Class Academy” laboratory, the educational and scientific laboratory of craft technologies and gastronomic innovations, the laboratory of food technology and the organization of production and service.
Scaling of the dual education project is impossible without quality popularization of the DFZO, which in turn involves attracting the resource potential of the student asset. During the meeting with the student self-government of Sumy NAU, the issues of conditions and features of dual education at the enterprises of JSC “MBP” were actively discussed.
As a result of the working meetings, a number of agreements were reached regarding the improvement of the system of organizing dual education at Sumy National University in cooperation with JSC “MBP”, the key ones of which were the expansion of the list of educational and professional programs available at the university with the introduction of a dual form of education; introduction of new mechanisms for the organization of dual training during martial law; involvement of teachers in mastering the latest equipment in the conditions of production on the basis of the enterprise by means of industrial training.
